The weaving spider is known as Jaronca, or in some dialects Nampitsi, and is linked to the art of sacred weaving and the creation of kené, designs that represent the energy and order of the universe. She is seen as a weaving mother, a wise grandmother who teaches us to build harmony among beings, weaving with threads of song and light.
