Owl - Oshiti
The owl's face, with one light eye and one dark eye, and its upright posture on the stone, represent Oshiti, the night guardian and spirit of vision.
In Asháninka tradition, the owl is a messenger of the spirits of the dead, a bearer of wisdom, and a protector of those who walk in the dream world. Its dual gaze (day and night, light and shadow) expresses the principle of balance between physical and spiritual vision.
Oshiti teaches healers to look beyond appearances, perceiving the energy behind every form.
