Curassow — Tchamére
Tchamére was a strong but cunning warrior. When wounded, he pretended to die; the blood that flowed from his nose made his enemies believe he was dead. That's why his beak turned red. The curassow represents sacrifice and courage, the teaching of overcoming without apparent violence. Its blood is a symbol of courage that is not afraid to show vulnerability.
