Welcome to

Musu Alpa

Musu Alpa means “New Earth” in the Ingano language of the Amazonian Putumayo. It is called this way because it is not until recently that sacred Amazonian plants began to make their way to our countries. We are a “New Earth” since we are just beginning to remember as a society the use of visionary plants for healing.

Not more than 20 years ago, to get in touch with elders healers, you had to travel several days by plane, boat, horse or any other means to enter the jungle and then be lucky enough to be received in the Maloca (Ceremonial Center). Today we have the privilege of being able to attend sacred plant ceremonies in our local communities in part thanks to the fact that this knowledge has begun to be opened to the world.

I want to contribute my grain of sand through the gallery, so that this art is a living reminder of native cultures and their ancient wisdom. Let them remind us that many have already walked on this Earth and that we are not alone. That the art of living beautifully (“Suma Kaugsai” in Inga), free of illness, has already been discovered and we only have to remember it in our lives. Sacred plants are a connection tool that allows us to release the origin of the symptoms we call illness.

The pieces of art that I share deal with the value of connection with nature, the importance of family, the teachings of grandparents, the mysteries of creation, among other things. These pieces are often created from what in tradition is called “Pintas” or visions that occur when sacred medicines are taken. This art invites us to bring this celebration of life into our homes, so that they remind us of the beautiful, the sacred, the magical and invite us to discover, to question, to remember how to live in peace and love with ourselves and others.

Founder

My name is Stephane Trussart

I began studying the path of sacred plants since 2017 through a desire for self-knowledge and inquiry. My passion for music, nature, and service to myself and family, among many other things, came together in this study. My heart longed to connect with God, and it was through ceremonies, friendships, teachers, and experiences that I have been remembering the magic and mystery of our existence.

I share and learn music as an instrument of liberation. I have been collecting techniques, instruments, sounds, and songs from various teachers who have made me laugh and cry with emotion. During breathing, dance, or meditation sessions, I share my music so that others can delve deeper into their experiences.
