Visionary Art: A Gateway to the Invisible

Visionary art is much more than images and colors; it is an invitation to explore the invisible, that which is felt but cannot always be explained. This form of art emerges from a deep connection with the spirit, nature, and the mysteries of existence. Its shapes and symbols convey messages that resonate beyond words, reminding us of the beauty of the world we inhabit and the universe within us.

Inspired by the worldview of Amazonian cultures and the practice of plant medicines, visionary art has the power to capture elevated states of consciousness, spiritual visions, and the very essence of the interconnectedness of all beings. It is a universal language that invites us to reflect, dream, and heal.

Every brushstroke in a visionary artwork tells a story: a winding river evoking the flow of life, a mystical figure guarding the secrets of the cosmos, or a jaguar that, as in the traditions of the rainforest, symbolizes strength, power, and ancestral wisdom.

In this blog, we will explore the meaning behind the visionary paintings in our collection. Each piece is unique, created with the intention of guiding the viewer on an inner journey. From celestial landscapes to scenes of sacred rituals, these works serve as a bridge between the material and the spiritual worlds.

Welcome to this space of inspiration and connection. Here, you will find not just art but also the stories and traditions that nourish it. Allow yourself to look beyond the surface, for within every painting lies an invitation to discover the love, magic, and power that dwell within you.

Title: Three Powers.

Size: 100x133cm.

Technique: Acrylic on canvas.

Description:

In this visionary work of art we can see the three powerful snakes in the spirit world, known as: Huairamama, Sachamama and Yacumama. At the top of the work is the Huairamama, a snake that moves with a great wind. According to the legend of the jungle, when this snake bathes, a sound of thunder is heard between the clouds, but no water falls to the ground.

This kind of "rain" is called supay-cato. When your call to the Huairamama, from moment to moment, it comes with a great wind that passes like a whirlpool that is being purged. The eyes of this animal are luminous and it radiates waves of vibrant colors that make us feel like giants who can sense anything that comes near.

In the Hairamama we see the temple of the sylphs. The sylphs teach how to defend themselves in outer space and also cleverly corner their enemies, then hand them over to another sylph dressed in yellow, who kills them. On the upper right side there are three old Archons, they produce a wind that accompanies this snake. In the central part of the work the Sachamama is shown. Trees and grass grow on the Sachamama. This large snake is difficult to find, but it can be seen.

This large snake rarely moves, remaining perhaps for hundreds of years in the same place. One can even accidentally climb on top of it without realizing that one is on this dangerous animal. If a person passes over its head, the Sachamama immediately magnetizes him and swallows him, because it has a very powerful magnet, and no living being that crosses its path can escape. When a person has noticed the presence of the Sachamama, he must leave quickly so as not to be crushed by a tree or struck by lightning, becausethe Sachamama produces a strong wind with lightning and a lot of rain, capable of knocking down trees.

When the Sachamama moves to another place, it knocks down the trees on its back and makes a kind of path knocking down other trees as well. When it is angry, it produces a strong wind, thunder and lightning, and then comes a rain that is scary. It cannot be seen, because trees and bushes grow on top of it.Finally, we see the Yacumama (Quechua mother of water), also known by the Cocamé name of pirahua, the Shipibo name of acarun, or supay lancha among these riverside fish of the Amazon, it is an enormous aquatic serpent that is believed to live at the bottom of rivers and drink water.

It has eyes like the head of a truck. When it moves, it forms enormous puddles that can swallow a boat. It attacks people who sail at night in lonely places. It is believed that the Yacumama can transform into a large steamboat full of people singing and running, as seen in the central right part of the work and that people take for a real boat until it suddenly disappearsUnderwater we see the Sirens in charge of taking care of the underwater temples and they only allow you to enter them if you show real respect to the spirits. Beyond them are the red bufeos, dolphins that transform into human beings to seduce and have sexual relations with women to make children that will later serve them.We see that the Yacumama, with sparkling rays of fire emanating from its mouth, is the muniruna, a man capable of entering the water as if it were the easiest thing in the world. This snake is also the "mother" of all aquatic creatures. At the bottom left of the work we see two Murayas masters who dominate plants such as the Black and White Patiquina and have great spiritual power to heal with all medicinal plants.

Title: Master Palero.

Size: 130x100cm

Technique: Acrylic on canvas.

Description:

In this splendid Amazonian Visionary Painting with its iridescent and majestic colors that adorn the spiritual mysteries of the Amazon that I am going to explain now, I have as my protagonist an extraordinary Master Shaman Healer "Palero" of origin from the Shipibo Shetebo ethnic group. Here we have in the foreground the Master “Palero”, this is how he is called or “Palero” is what all the Vegetal Shamans are called who are exclusively dedicated to Dietar strictly all kinds of trees, especially the strongest and oldest trees, of those offered by our Amazonian flora such as: La Cumaceba, Shihuahuaco, Tahuarí, Lagarto Caspi, Capirona negra y roja, Quillo-Bordón, Lopuna roja, Catahua negra, Ojé etc, etc, etc.

Being a “Palero” indicates that he is a specialist Master expert in his Wisdom, in his Understanding, in his Knowledge of the mysterious greatness hidden in each one of the trees that produces the Pacha-Mama.These Masters “Paleros” are those who have a spiritual contact with the so-called “Caspi-Mama”, who are the genies or spirits of the trees in a different environment that cannot be seen by anyone, because the Glory of the bodies of the spirits are of a different kind than those on earth.

These spiritual beings or genies are very intelligent, these beings are made of an invisible Cosmic matter, it must be understood that they are from other dimensions. You can also see the Master “Palero” next to the jaguar as if they were stalking their victims. In this Shamanic Vision this feline amazes the Master “Palero” because he sees it come out of the Ayahuasca vine. You can also perceive and see very clearly around the feline how the vibrations and strong spiritual magnetic energies emanate from its body.

In the lower right we can also see another Master “Palero” of the Shipibo-Shetebo ethnic group receiving precisely the teachings of the spirits or genies of the trees. In the central right part of the middle of this work we can see the spiritual being called “Sacha-Uya” who is doing her spiritual cleansing breaths. “Sacha-Uya” means: Face of the Jungle, and is represented with the face of a woman, which can be perceived and seen when we are performing an Ayahuasca ritual or ceremony, this woman is a Nymph or Napéa who takes care of the Amazonian prairies and forests.

In the vertigo with the Ayahuasca she shows us the vegetal kingdom and its spirits such as: The Nymphs, the ghosts, the succubi, the incubi, the runamula, the awara, the buriburi, the Tunchis, the evil ones and others. And also among her felines she teaches us: The Yana-Pumas, the Lluicho-Puma, the Jaguar, the Yacu-Puma, etc., etc. Among his snakes he teaches us: Yacu-Mama, Sacha-Mama, Waira-Mama, Purawa, Acorón, Yana-Yacumama.In the central part we can see the Planetary System. As demonstrated by the ingestion of Ayahuasca in case of vertigo, the planets accompany the birth of a boy or a girl through their rhythmic murmur of their movements in space, so it can be said that the planets and other stars control our life in their movements of intellectual and spiritual development, of our senses and of our physical forces and instincts, they control our breath of life, our breathing that we do.

Title: Spiritual Temple of Knowledge.

Size: 120x90cm.

Technique: Acrylic on canvas.

Description of the work:

This painting of Ayahuasca Visions represents the Spiritual Temple of Knowledge. At the ends of the right and left side you can see doors, which can only be entered by people who have a lot of respect and are disciplined for the learning of medicinal plants.Entering the temple through these doors, they learn everything about medicinal plants, taught by great sublime masters of ayahuasca, such as Banco Puma, Banco Sumi and Elder Archons, as we see below the Yanapuma, these masters govern the main elements: earth, water, air and fire.In this temple, both shamans and apprentices refresh their memory, help the heart to feel good and stimulate their mental faculties. There spiritual songs are sung, uniting the bonds of altruistic love.

There one breathes peace, kindness, joy and a lot of patience. Inside the temple the body is cleansed, as well as what has been lost from a person, such as knowledge, discernment, and one can control the tongue that is almost untameable. There, when a person has not practiced the “I”, becoming egocentric, a spirit grants him talent in many ways.On the outside of the palace doors, we see power animals that are used as Arkanas and/or guardians. In the upper central part we can appreciate a good connection between the universe and the spiritual beings that inhabit the temple of knowledge.

On the right side of the work, we see the Ayahuasca vine demonstrating that the vegetation we see has life in the sense that it has the capacity to grow, reproduce and adapt, through the help of genies or spirits, who live within them, the same ones that are appreciated in the form of spiritual faces. The colors used in this work are the astral eyes that serve spirituality, holiness and purity, these colors connect the shaman with cosmic, stellar and magnetic elements, among others.

Finally, when leaving the temple, our mind has been renewed with the best knowledge that the sacred plant of ayahuasca gives us; this work grants wisdom, knowledge and a report of interest in the mind of the person who possesses it. It has rainbow colors, it is: splendid, magnificent, admirable and resplendent.
