In this visionary work of art, "Maestro Palero," a wise Shipibo-Shetebo herbalist, emerges imposingly, seated between two jaguars as if guardians of a forgotten mystery.
 
Beside him are two archetypal felines: the black panther (Yana Puma) and the golden jaguar, living embodiments of the ayahuasca vine and leaf, respectively. They are not simple animals: They are guardian spirits, hypnotic and sacred, children of the night and thunder. Their tails move in rhythmic waves, as if tracing invisible geometries in the air. These felines are said to lend "Palero" their sharp senses, their night vision, their incorruptible cunning. They are his shadow and his shield. Their wisdom is not learned: It is inherited, in silence, amid the breaths of the jungle.
 
The tingunas shine like a silver drum hanging in the firmament. Their roundness hints at the pulse of the cosmos, the rhythm of water, the secret language of tides and births.
